PVE oil in a Daikin compressor
Someone can enlighten this a little bt?
In Daikin scrolls (VRVII and VRVIII) is PVE oil used instead of POE oil. PVE oil is non hydrolytic which should mean that this oil very difficult can transform to an acid in presence of moisture and high temperaures. You also can't use a POE acid tester to determine if the PVE oil is acid.
It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
