    REYQ14MY1B Oil Removal Issue

Ok, so i changed a compressor on a VRV 3 and added driers. My boss then told me we have to change the oil to comply with Daikin warranty regs.

I pressured the system up with nitrogen and put the system through mode 21 (open all solinoids)
and opened the oil returning hoping to remove most of the oil, but all i got was nitrogen coming through the oil return valve.

Is there a certain field setting i need to put the unit into to remove the oil or will i have to run it up on full load to get the oil back to the compressors?

The unit is a VRV3 REYQ14MY1B, i took an oil sample from the old compressor i removed and it was literatly black.

    Cheers guys.

to remove the oil you should have done it before vaccing the system- daikin do an oil kit that involes pulling a vac on a tin can and sphoning the oil out the other 2 compressors then refill with 3gs then pressure test, vac and charge with the setting mode for opening all valves enabled
