External static pressure. ESP control allows you to adjust fan speeds in ducted units to suit your duct work

I would like to add here that ESP (external static pressure ) is basically minimum pressure that fan has to overcome in ducts to deliver conditioned air to space or zone at designed flow rate.
ESP differs from TSP because some more pressure loss terms are added to ESP to form TSP (total static pressure)
