Daikin A0 error, gah its a sauna in here!

hello i have a Daikin brc1c62 and have a problem with error code A0

i read that it is the external protection has been triggered.

this is most likely because water fell in through the little hole where the thermostat is. i have asked to get it fixed but they wont be able to come for a while and is getting really hot in here.

after a long search on the web i can seem to find a solution. Is there a way i can reset the external protection things? i opened up the panel and cleaned as much water out as i could immediatly after it happened but i am still getting the error. any suggestions and any help will be greatly appreciated thank you very much

If you have dried all of the water out, you could try turning off the power to the condensing unit, waiting 20 seconds and then turn the power back on. If the fault has been removed, then you may be lucky and the system will reset.

im not really sure what a condensing unit is, could you be more specific? thanks for your fast reply

turn the power off. turn it back on. if it runs great, if not wait for engineer
