Haier au36

Cassette type,someone taken over a shop with a couple in,no remotes so used universal remote and one works fine.
The other has the power led flashing twice,it receives the remote signal but doesn't change plus it won't switch power off,power led flashes as soon as the main switch is on.
Haven't seen these before but knowing the reputation Haier have I'm not too hopeful.
Had a look through other threads and tried googling but haven't found any info.
Suspect pcb's but not at all sure.
Any help appreciated.
