2000 carrier trailer reefer. Does not stop start.

I was wondering if any can help with this year 2000 carrier trailer reefer. It goes continously heating and cooling. Thank you

First make sure that it is set in auto start stop. Second, battery voltage must be good and water temp also must be acceptable before unit will shut down. This as well as setpoint and minimum on time must be met before micro will allow shut down.
