Glycol Back To Refrigerant
Can anyone assist by telling me the best way to flush a glycol system evaporator on a serveover counter to be used as a refrigerated one or can you get a small glycol unit to run just a counter
thanks

Re: Glycol Back To Refrigerant
Hi JIMMYBOY.
Cleaning us simple but, is the coil can be used for refrigerant?
Or was it designed and made for water and glycol?
I would strongly advice you not to do it.
Get a new coil, designed for refrigerant

Re: Glycol Back To Refrigerant
JimmyBoy, welcome; if the systems has always run on glycol then I would assume that the pipework is NOT suitable for refrigerant - different grade of tubing and jointing.
It should be possible to get, or make, a small water cooler from which the chilled water could then be circulated around your existing coil.Brian - Newton Abbot, Devon, UK

Re: Glycol Back To Refrigerant
Well you could try a propriety tube cleaner followed by a set of triple evacuations to dry it afterwards.
