Mr. Slim Heating Problem
My MSZ-GE12NA w/MUZ outside unit was installed this summer. A/C temperature maintained at the SET temperature correctly. This was my first use of heat. I was surprised to see the temperature in this room rise to 74F when I have it set to 67F. I was originally using HEAT mode, but later restarted everything in AUTO mode to no avail. The heat just continues to pump out and the room has become uncomfortably hot. I am now trying a third option (AUTO mode but have turned FAN to quiet mode). In the first two attempts, the fan ran, I assume, high (it was in AUTO fan mode). Does anybody know how the Mr. Slim SHOULD work, i.e., always keep temperature fairly constant or not? Thus, is it time to call a service rep OR am I not reading the operations manual correctly? Any guidance on how to set this unit to keep a fairly constant temperature around the SET temperature (HEAT, not A/C) is welcome. Thanks.
