Carrier 38YE018 weird...
Hello guys, i have a "tiny problem" here with a carrier split unit, the condenser fan spins only for a few seconds, 5 at maximum then it stops, i cant notice if the compressor is kicking in or not but im assuming it isnt.
after around 5 minutes, it spins again for +- 5 seconds and it stops again.
any ideas ?
regards.

hi, gauges show no change, 407c *****, high pressure on suction side with system stoped, +-160\170 psi.
using a clip, no consuption on compressor.

Re: Carrier 38YE018 weird...
Hey guys, need tips,
spent some time today looking at it,
the fan now works ok,
compressor never works, i can feel it "fibrating" for like 5 secs then goes off, doesnt even start, guess overload safety is cutting off since the compressor is very hot.
changed the capacitors.
anyone has a service manual for a carrier 38ye018(outside unite)
carrier allegro 42hqe018n (inside)
thanks in advance
