Talking flywheel Bushes on SL 300

    Hi Reeferjon
I have just had the opportunity to replace the flywheel Bushes on SL 300 I know you're thinking that's not so special which isn't having completed this task over at number of years on other TK products, what was different the reaction of other engineers at the parts counter a lot of sharp intakes of breath and don't forget to do this and don't do that with regard to refitting the compressor perhaps you can shed some light on what the problem is.
However the job did go well as I followed all recommendations I was given.

    Martin

    Basicly the requirments are.
    1. Don't preload or impact the pump at all.
    2. Make sure you refit the clutch in the correct manor.
    3. Prime the pump (a lot!).
    4. Make sure the bushes slide on the pins (as in slide easy).
    5. Oh and don't preload or impact the pump at all
