New Trane xl14c HP question

I just had a new Trane xl14c 2.5 ton heatpump installed. I like it so far except for one thing, the fan only setting gives me 50% fan speed. Installer says there in no way to change this. I would like it to run at 100% fan speed in fan only setting to circulate the air in the house. Is the installer correct or does he just not want to be bothered with it since he has his money?

yes you can make it a single speed unit if you choose to just make sure you eliminate the low speed wire and addanother section of wire from that relay to your high speed tap and thus you have a single speed moter now.
