i have a whirlpool k4o that wont seem to go on hot gas, the wiring diagram is rubbed off and all wiring is solid with dust. unit about 15 years old. looking at it i think that when ice thickness stat is open it breaks the neutral from the pump sending a live feed to the water inlet sol and hot gas sol. but when ice thickness becomes open circuit nothing is happening. I could be wrong about the wiring. HGS and WIS are not getting a supply when ice stat becomes open any help appreciated
