Sabroe Co2 compressor

Hi Gents

I was relibly informed this picture is a 1926 Sabroe compressor undergoing development testing on Co2.

Going by the man with the oil can I wouild say this was taken in the 60's. Nice safety boots.

Nice photo of that compressor,the guy there seems to be enjoying his time he maybe going into a party after that considering his outfit,and the shoes looks like a then known HUSH PUPPIES.

This is actually a historical picture taken at NTNU-Sintef laboratories in 1989 when doing transcritical testing with CO2 before sending the patent claim that started the reuse of CO2 as refrigerant.
