Re: LonTalk - modbus Communication
You could use these
Backnet
HLI
LLI
Tridium
Depends on what and how much info you want to communicate.
Tracer is usually used on trane chillers.
Best to contact your local trane dealer for detailed options and prices then do a price check from independant controls company. expect it to be expensive.

Re: LonTalk - modbus Communication
Trane have a PIC (protocol interface controller) which can be build into almost any Trane chiller and rooftop and will give you the data through ModBus.
It's about 15cm by 10 cm and can be build into the machine.
You'll have to get Trane to do it, any one else won't be able to get all the data!
