    Question Toshiba 3 Pipe VRV how do you charge it with gas?



    Hi , what pipe do you charge it on , suction or common and can you charge it while on heating mode?

    Some posts frighten me. This is one of them.

    The new refrigerants should not be charged in the vapour state (gas). Assuming that this is a new install, of course.

    By the age of the poster I would hope that this is a question he has been set by someone on a course he/ she is sitting and that they are not sitting, as we type with gauges in hand staring at at vrv with no refrigerant left. . Lets hope so anyway

    Had a tradesman trying to teach me how to charge a system when i was an apparentice and it wasn't charging. On closer inspection i had to point out his gauges were connected to the discharge.

    Gee that made me feel smart when i told him that.

    and that's probably the most minor thing he had done.
