Frosties
Quick one. Has anyone see 99 come up on an Eliwell controller. We have tried changing from PTC to NTC no change. Controller damaged?

Re: Ic 901
What happens when the probe is disconnected, does it show a probe fault or just stay at 99?
If it ain't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet.

Re: Ic 901
Basic I know but have you tried powering down and then powering back up?
Just to confirm you don't just have a confused display.
Pretty much what chunk is suggesting!

Re: Ic 901
Back again, it is just possible that you have the keyboard LOC on as you can still access the programming mode via the set button.
whilst viewing the set point. Which incidentally has a maximum value of 99 (sound familiar).
Please read the attached info and hopefully all just may be revealed? (see bottom L/H of first paragraph)

Re: Ic 901
This problem occurs when the controller is expecting to see one type of sensor input (i.e. NTC) and another is connected (i.e PTC). You can change the probe input type in folder CnF, parameter H00 but you MUST then power down the controller and then restart it, otherwise it will not accept the new probe input. It's simple when you know how.
