Floor Insulation
Dear Friends
What will be the mechanical spec for the polyurethane sheets located under floor as insulation in a warehouse 30 x 60 x 12 m at -28C?
I know there are some index like the Compression Strethg index and other shown in ASME code but there few literature about it.
It our project we will have a pressure of 7 Kg/cm2 over the poliuretane sheet.
Somebody here have any literature or recomendation for the Polyurethane Mechanical Properties
Thanks for the discutions

Re: Floor Insulation
We had done a almost similar project in sizing. We had used High Density EPS insulation 25 KG density 200mm thk( 2 x 100mm slabs)
But your question is really valid as there are no specific norms for this issue. I am trying to find out more & If I come acorss anything definitely shall post it here

Re: Floor Insulation
In freezers, I use floor insulation of the same thickness as the walls with a 12 CM steel reinforced concrete on top.
