single phase scroll comp direction
can a single phase scroll comp run the wrong direction if so hw do we reverse the direction

Single phase comressors, regardless of the type, can only turn to one direction.
Nothing to worry about.

They will run the correct way if they are wired correctly and the capacitor is ok.
What can happen if the power goes off for a second is that when the power comes back on, the compressor is spinning backwards (as many scrolls do when the power is removed) and it will continue to do so now the power is back on until turned off long enough for it to stop and then restarted. Or it trips on internal overload and then starts up ok when it resets.
