r413a to substitute r134a what 'up?

Hello Milton,
R134 & R413 are both HFC blends designed to replace R12.
R413 is advertised as a straight drop-in where as R134 MIGHT have to have adjustments to the system.
R134a (The Scurge of us all) is also used in the make up of other more popular gases so in answer to your'e question, i don't think R413 is going to replace R134a.
Which one you chose 134/413 will depend on what it's being used on. If in doubt post a message and i am sure there will be people who have tried and tested each on at every application

You might be amused to know that R-413A, aka ISCEON 49, is a blend of R-218, R-134a, and R-600a (9/88/3 percent by weight). Since 88 percent of R-413A is R-134a, it will hardly eliminate R-134a from the marketplace.

yes 404A is a refrigerant blend of R-125, R-143a, and R-134a.
no escape!
