    huskey ceiling cassette

The condensate lift pump on a huskey ceiling unit has gone down but the builders have fitted a plasterboard ceiling flush with the unit with no access does anyone know if you can access the pump from inside the cassette or will the ceiling need to damaged to get at it from the side
    thanks

if its just a 4 way cassette and the internal pump has gone then dropping the grill, drip pan and fan blade i would of thought would give you access,(it will on every make ive worked on)if it the tank pump then reach for your pad saw as that celling is coming down and cut your self a access hatch as that will be needed for servicing

... or install a new pump if you can hide it somewhere, plastic tubes are easy to hide if you use the same color.

Cheers hadn't thought of putting a new pump in line as i think theres room, at present the lift pump is gravity fed into a tank pump in a cupboard below.
    Thanks for the suggestion
