    Re: 17th edition

The 17th is due to start on the 1/1/08. My dad, an electrical trainer told me tonight the exam papers havn't even been drawn up yet. He expects the 17th to come in at the end of july 08.
He also pointed out that it is undescided wheather non-electricans will be able to take the test, once it is up and running.
He tells me, most of the fridge guys at the moment are taking the 16th edition test with a view to taking a 1 day upgrade when the 17th comes out. It is possible that this may be the only way.

the 17th edition will be out in January 08 running along side the 16th edition till July 08 when 17th edition is in full command.
Exams 16th edition with C&G will run to at least March.
    After that the 17th Edition.
But EMTA are bring out a equalant exam within the next month.

i would recommend all engineers to under stand and preferable complete the 16th or 17th exams
