Help Wanted please
I am a retired Electrician/CCTV engineer, recently after my wife defrosted the
freezer, and when switched back on again, the compressor did'nt start up. I put the supply straight to compressor and it started to run ok. I am sure the termistor is faulty. I have heard that if I cut the wires to the termistor and twist them together the machine will work ok and will be controled by the temperture control on the panel. But with no thermistor, what controls the freezer temperature?
If I get a replacement termistor, is it difficult to fit? Any help would be appreciated.

join the 2 middle wires together (Dark Blue with Dark Brown) and it will work and should carry on as norm,as for replacement termistor,they very easy to fit

Thanks for that info. I will try that, and fit new termistor when I have sourced one.
