Run 4 cassettes off one controller
Hi Guys,
Just installing 4 mitsubitshi cassettes and need to hard wire all to one controller.
Never worked on Mitsi's before so any tips or is it just daisy chain the units.
Thanks.

Re: Run 4 cassettes off one controller
Hi pal
From your controller wire to unit one (master 0) then follow on 0-1,1-2,2-3,3-4.
So you will have two wires inside the unit. For example you'll have wire one coming into power/signel unit one then have wire two going out of unit one conetted and going to unit two and so on.
Make sure you set your controller to master mode.
Hope it helps

Re: Run 4 cassettes off one controller
Last time I did 4 it was: Daisy chain from the master and then set dip switches on the 3 slave outdoors, SW1 I think??? Master=0 (factory)

Re: Run 4 cassettes off one controller
Hi Aza
Again I havn;t done this in a long time . But the guys are correct normal daisy chain in on the remote control terminals. Then set up the dip sw's on the outdoors. there is one bank of switch's on the outdoor PCB with 6 sw's, ignore switch one and two and use the remaining
Sw's in a binary configuration to set the outdoor addresses. Im sure the info will be in the install manuals.
But from memory
UNIT 1 SW1 DO NOT TOUCH
UNIT 2 SW1 DIP SWITCH 3 ON
UNIT 3 SW1 DIP SWITCH 4 ON
UNIT 4 SWI DIP SWITCH 3 AND 4 ON
Power all units on then they should auto address after that.
Hope this helps
