Parallel condensers

Dear Friends,

I have a question.

If we have 2 air cooled condenser but sizes and capacities are different and we decide to install them parallel, As result of difference in capacity and also pressure drop, Is it necessary to use check valves at outlet of these 2 condensers in parallel ?
I worry flow will back form condenser that has lower pressure drop to other condenser with higher pressure drop. Is this imagination true ?

In outlet for each one use long U legs to cover the diffrent drop pressure .
Also your should have equalizing pipe between reciver and inlets of Condensers

answer from mbc is good .... one more suggestion ...

If you have condensers with two coils
you need to install U-pipe (P-trap; syphon/siphon)
on each condenser coil outlet

The minimum recommended height of the vertical leg is
1500 mm for ammonia. This vertical dimension h is shown in all
evaporative condenser piping diagrams. This height is satisfactory
for operation within reasonable ranges around normal design
conditions and is based on the maximum condensing pressure drop
of the coil. If service valves are installed at the coil inlets and/or outlets, the pressure drops imposed by these valves must be accounted
for by increasing the minimum 1500 mm drop-leg height by an
amount equal to the valve pressure drop in height of liquid refrigerant
