Samsung RSA1DHMH - Help with water leak

I have just moved house and inherited a Samsung RSA1DHMH side by side fridge/freezer, and need some guidence/assistance to resolve a slight water leak.
Water is building up in in the channels at the bottom of the freezer section. This initially freezes, but, when channels are full of ice, the water leaks from the bottom of the door.
I suspect that the leak originates from the water intake of the ice maker, and/or the chilled water dispenser.
In order to confirm this, I was thinking of over-riding the door closed switch and running the water dispenser so I can see if I can identify the source of the leak.
Could anybody advise how to over-ride the door close switch?
Does anybody have any thoughts or ideas to pin-point and resolve the leak

Switch off the water supply to the fridge and see if the problem goes away

Good suggestion. I'll certainly try this. At least that will confirm my suspicions
