Hi Bernard,
Any refrigerant pump should be acceptable as long as the pump application parameters are met and the pump is designed for refrigerant service. The system you are describing essentially sounds like a HySave system used in years past for supermarkets and other commercial applications.
Instead of running the system with higher discharge pressures to feed liquid refrigerant to the TXV's, the refrigerant pump simply provides the pressure to push the liquid to the TXV's. Rather straightforward, but...
Refrigerant pumps are notorious for cavitating if the inlet pressure is insufficient.
Hi Bernard.the pumps are being used to get head pressures from 200psi to 100psi at night to try and cut down costs.they seem to be working ok as long as the receivers are about 3/4`s full.have`nt had too many problems yet onlystupid alarms when all fans cut out.
hysave website is very informative.RE wont let me give url.:)
Thanks Josip now thats 16:)
