hello, I need manual control panel Frick / York unit RXF for compressor XJF 151. Thank you
Thanks Ranger
I I didn't understand the oil pressure safety of this compressor, how do I adjust it and the recommended safety value
Diego,
Check page 37 of second download.
I don’t think it can be adjusted.
Assume differential pressure oil feed to compressor so has set values below discharge pressure with timers.
Also oil separator may have low oil level float switch with timer.
Ensure oil filter is clean, as it may have high differential across it as well.
Suction & discharge may also have a minimum pressure difference as well, like 500 kpa.
Low oil pressure alarm 2.0 bar, shutdown 1.5 bar.
High oil pressure can be adjusted on high pressure compressor with regulating valve on injection to block(screws).
That is for Europe market.

screw compressor locks main cause of return of liquid ammonia in the suction, however the panel did not show any alarm. Should an alarm appear on the correct Frick Micro panel before the crash?
Diego,
On later Quantum panels they have anti slugging shutdown, so if discharge temperature drops suddenly it will shut down.
Always compressor high level shutdown on suction accumulator, or whatever you have should protect it & should be tested bi-annually.
This damage didn't happen in 1 minute.
Latest practices advise a simulated test by filling control column with refrigerant to actually see if float switch works.
Could have low oil temperature & level trip as well in oil separator
Oil can upset control column function, fail safe wiring as well may not be in place.
Example if circuit broken, wire falls off, shuts down, not the other way.
In the compressor overhaul they are with bearings NU 310 and NU2310 models in polyamide cage, honestly I don't like to use these cages due to fragility. Does anyone have any information if this equipment was previously assembled with a machined brass cage?
Thank you very much for the reply Ranger! Very complete, excellent guidance. Grateful
Diego,
We’re the new bearings supplied by Frick?
SKF suggest the Polyamide may not be suitable.
Maximum bearing temperature 70 deg C, so not really suitable.
contact SKF.
Check polymer cages.
You need steel, brass of PEEK cage material

Hi friends,
Sabroe uses bearings marked BEGAM, ECP or B-XL-MP-P5-OU and E-XL-MPA-T42A. Personally, I don't think the problem is plastic or brass bearing bearings. According to the picture, I don't think they are original bearings.
I reworked many compressors but this picture does not show the fluid in the oil (there will be more damage to the rotor) but the wrong choice of bearing during the last overhaul.
I don't like to be mistaken, there can be another problem of such damage. If Diego gives more information, we can get closer to the problem.
Josef.
hello, SKF ECP bearings were used, but only the bearings close to the rotational multiplication gear that damaged the cage.
which bearings are used in the XJF 151, not Johnson Controls codes but SKF or FAG models with bearing clearances. I didn't find if they C2,C3,C2L. It was verified that the breakage caused by liquid ammonia in the suction of the compressor leading to breakage of the cages.
