AEG / Electrolux - Arctis Freezer

AEG / Electrolux Arctis fridge / freezer double unit - product no = 922046276,
Model = A75248 GA1

Freezer unit not working - a motor / fan / compressor (??) switches on when unit switched on, but has no effect. Temperature display showing ambient OK.
The red temp display flashes initially then stays on. No codes appear in the display

Fridge unit working OK - very good. All about 2 / 3 years old.

I am the householder, and a newby - Would greatly welcome any recommendations, suggestions, advice, etc, to get it going.
