Fujitsu ASU15RLQ Defrost mode
I've got a new mini split works great, goes into defrost mode every three hours sometimes sooner. just wondering is this is normal? It's winter here on the east coast about -3 to -6 degrees celsius or 30 fahrenheit. Some input would be greatly appreciated.

Check if the unit is lifted off the ground and that there are no restriction in the bottom pan of the outdoor unit. Equipment that is not lifted off the ground will cause ice to buildup on the condenser coil much faster then a unit that is lifted and bring about the defrost cycle much faster.
