I've been reading this forum for quite awhile, I spose
its well time I joined.
Experience? One cant have too much of that!
After near two decades in ACR someone can still show me something. The other day I was asked if I had a roller for a tube cutter, I asked "you mean the cut wheel?", nope, a roller. OK, what would you do with one if I had one.
Its old school, and I can't recall seeing one in a tool catalog or bag. It was used to create a rolled stop so another tube section can be inserted and brazed.
One would swage if it were tubes of similar OD, but it seems this tool reduced the ID to let it become a reduced coupling with just a single braze. Now I want one!
Cheers!

Welcome to this forum.
A roller?

Hi Peter.

Its a device that works similar to a pipe cutter but the similarity ends there.
It is designed to compress the pipe untill it has been reduced to fit the next size pipe down.

Cheers taz.
