I was recently informed that auto makers in Europe are beginning to equip cars with 2 different refrigerants.
One is a CO2 system, and the other is Ammonia.
My question is this: could someone confirm these rumours?

We have heard that there will be some CO2 cars in europe for 2003. I believe Mercedes but can not confirm that. I wonder how they are handling the 2200 PSI operating pressure?
Delpi in Luxenburg were developing a CO2 system for cars a couple of years ago.
