When you buy a new copeland scroll compressor, does it come with the specified oil charge already inside?

Thanks much. It's been 35 years since I changed a compressor and don't recall adding oil then. On the automotive stuff, it gets a measured charge with a new compressor and receiver. I just needed to be sure before I start this swap.

Id tip it up and have a look incase. Some do and ive known some not come with oil.
Hitachi went through a phase of selling a scroll compressor that would fit onto a R22 unit or an R407c unit. Hence they supplied it without oil so the engineer could charge with the appropriate oil for the gas.
I would expect a fairly clear notice on the box though to warn the engineer if this is the case.

This compressor was a scratch and dent sale from eBay. It's brand new except for a scratch on the can and a scrape on the label. It's never been soldered in either and the rubber plugs are in place. I guess I'll up-end it and see if there is any charge inside. It's kind of important I guess. :p I don't need to do this twice. The part number for this gem is ZR47KC-PFV-135.
