Hi All,

I’m following on from a previous issue about a Fujitsu AOTG45LATL

I have
Replaced the following
*Compressor
*Bridge Rectifier thing

So in startup the Main PCB
Was dead… unplugged both fans and the board came alive and the compressor started!
Plugged in the fans one at a time and the power drops to the Board… so on testing you’d think that both fans need to be replaced.

So tested the GND and DcIn terminals on both motors which which gave me 450 kohms. It’s mentions if the fans are shorted <300 kohms then replace the fans and board.

I am told a previous tech replaced the main boards recently so I’m leaning towards the posistor playing up.

I’d love to bypass this as a test and wonder is there anything I could make up for this purpose?

Thanks LeDoy

Dont bypass the posistor. It is just showing that you have an issue on a low voltage rail. So i'll bet my left nut that there is an issue with the JPZ transfomer. Since you mentioned it ran with the fans disconnected, check the 15v output, check Q1 and components around it. Compare the transfomer pins / grnds with a working board. I recon the 15v rail will be missing its gnd/ earth.
