orange filter light

Fujitsu AUYA18LALN indoor cassette orange filter light stays on for 8sec off for 2sec and repeats.
when power was turned off at outdoor unit then turned on the green timer light flashed 5sec and
repeated before disappearing and the orange light returned.Fujitsu say its just the filter needs resetting on the hand remote but there is no button for this.tried the reset button but this only
cancels the clock which needs to be set back up.
downloaded manual but its not showing here.heating/cooling work fine so why is the orange light
lit.

Think it's a choice of the filter reset button on the remote L/H side but guessing you don't have that option or press the button on the facia for a couple of seconds or less to reset it.

Info I have is a bit hit and miss but hopefully option 2 works for you.

thanks andy i will try the facia option,but it makes no sense not to have it on the remote.
