AHU Design

Hello,

I have an AHU that we want to add extraction box above it,
And after talking to the client we proposed to go for partial recycling system.
and i proposed this two cases :
Case 1 : The air recycling will be inside the AHU
Case 2 : The air recycling will be in the duct system.
both schematics of the propositions are in the attachements.

For you, what's the best solution??

Option 1 is the only one that will work, with option 2 there is nothing to make the recirculated air go into the AHU.

Ensure that the recirculation and discharge air dampers are linked together on one damper motor.
