I have a 2.5 ton split unit. New evaporator last year. It all worked fine until now. However now I cannot get lower than 65 degrees out of the duct anywhere in the house. This was in the 50's before.
Suction 125
head 280
Condenser unit is about 4 years old. Seams to be working good.
I am at a loss.
Thanks
Rick

Pressures are meaningless without knowing what refrigerant you are talking about.
Other parameters such as air entering, air leaving, room temp etc. also help.

subcooling 10
air into evaporator 73
room temp 73
temp at evaporator {little temp lead inside) about 53
of course temp outside is 95-100

I would suspect that you have a refrigerant shortage.
The only way to tell is to recover and check the amount against the nameplate charge.
