Hi guys,

I intend to install ducted Daiken FCUs in my house. I will create a box roughly 2m long for each room and install the FCUs with a vent intake and 1.5m output duct.
The Diaken units I am considering are the FWS, FWP and FWN range.
The main difference seems to be the FWS range has 0Pa static pressure available.
FWP have 60Pa and FWN have 70Pa available.
My limited understanding is that high pressure units would be good if I intended to install long ducts for multiple rooms? (causing a large pressure loss due to friction?)
I feel that the FWP and FWN units are over-spec for my needs?

Can anyone advise if the FWS units would be OK? Sorry, the supply agent is unable to give me a proper answer.

Edited because I don't know what I talking about :D :D

Sorry I tried to help but realised I was talking rubbish.

I misunderstood your post and replied before my brain was engaged :)

If you are adding ducting 2m long and a ducted inlet then your setup will have resistance to airflow, albeit a small pressure drop. Obviously then, the FWS with 0pa differential will not be suitable. I would be tempted to select the unit with the capacity to handle external static and run it at a lower speed which will also reduce noise.
