Would be very grateful for advice on this.

Unit is 2 years old. Been in a static location running 2 hours per day. Very clean and looked after.

Water is collected but tiny amount compared to what it was. Having stripped down the compressor is running and condenser getting cold. There is some icing on the lower part of the condenser. Fan runs fine and no obvious failures on the pcb.

Any ideas please? Many thanks

What is the ambient humidity level?

Winter levels are normally lower than summer.

Thank you. Yes, it’s not that though. I have it running on drying mode and it is literally collecting a few mm of water when constant running for hours whereas when working fine in the same environment it was collecting a lot more. I actually run 3 dehumidifiers and the other two are collecting as they have done before.

Icing may be due to partial capillary blockage, poor airflow (crud on the fan blades), shortage of refrigerant or other cause found during inspection

Thank you, the airflow is fine and the condenser perfect - no build up at all. Is there any easy way to tell if the refrigerant is low please? Thank you

The only sure way to know is to recover it and compare the recovered weight to the nameplate weight.
A qualified refrig guy may find other causes of the poor performance though.
