Hi everyone,
my thermostat TAC662 is faulty (display turns on but pressing any button des nothing) and I need to replace it but it seems this is an old model and I am struggling to find a replacement. Do you know of any compatible thermostat in the market?
As my thermostat has the typical 4 wires (color coded, red,black,green and yellow), would it be enough to just reconnect those wires to the new thermostat?

Carrier Model: CIMA PLUS 100B (INTERNAL UNIT 40AVR034T)

many thanks

Have you w1/y1 terminals and 24v supply? If so any stat will be compatible, home depot have a good range.

y1=cool
g1=fan
b1=heat
r1=12v

is it right?

No. Red + Black are power. Yellow + Green are data communications

so no way of replacing it with a "compatible" one? the only solution is to go to Carrier and buy the same model?
All the thermostats I see to buy online (and DIY videos in Youtube) have another way for wiring: i.e. yellow=cooling, green=fan,red=power, white=heating... and all of them follow the same pattern. So Carrier making the things easier :-D

many thanks

Search Google for the manual and you will see the wiring.
All of the carrier unit's I've come across have data comms on the controllers
