Hi Guys

I have a PURY-EP500YNW-A giving a 1302 high pressure fault , the strange it it seems to be occurring when I shut everything down while all units are in heating mode. So head pressure will hover around 30 bar and running away getting good temps. Not a normal occurrence but I shut everything down at the one time from the central controller . Head pressure (read from LED display) rises sharply and exceeds 37bar for a split second. I must have shut them on and off once to often and the 1302 crops up . I’ve checked the accuracy of the pressure sensor and it’s ok.

The bypass valve doesn’t seem to be able to equalize the pressure at shut down . Possibly overcharged? I’m going to look into that tomorrow but I just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas.
Some background
- refit of existing equipment (like for like)
-pipe work and positioning of BC boxes not ideal.

When the unit was commissioned (during much colder weather) there were no issues. Now I have been back looking at some 6201 faults on other systems and this crops up

Here's an old thread on this subject. Look at the last post from Thermatech (he used to be the training guy for Mitsubishi back in the day). It's not the same model number but may have some relevance to error 1302 on your kit

Did the refrigerant change when the kit was changed?

Sorry frank can you post the link again. I usually go through Thermatechs posts when I get stuck with city multis but didn’t see anything on this.

Thanks Al. Yes fresh charge, no old gas was used . Both R410a

I think I found the post you mentioned Frank, I don’t think it applies to my situation as the system will run and achieve good temps, it’s only when the system is turned off that the 1302 arises, compressor runs, fans run but HP spikes before bypass valve can equalise pressure . I forgot to mention there was a power cut last Thursday while system was running but system seems to be performing ok
