VRV2 pipe blockage

Good morning all,

I've diagnosed a blockage in the refrigerant pipework on a Daikin RXQ8M8W1B system. Does anyone know if there is a built in filter/strainer, and where I can find it? Spoke to Daikin UK but they haven't got back to me yet.

VRV 2 are notorious for problems after a few years operating.

Most circuit problems I used to encounter on these units were the EEV's failing

A lot of systems will run strainers before and after RMD, not usually accessible on AC systems though. You can usually find blockages easy by feeling the pipework until you feel a temperature drop over certain parts. Example is filter dryers, if they are blocked then they will be cold one side and warm the other due to the refrigerant not being able to pass through.
