The custom asked us to empty the equipmet before delivery by air, they say the refrigerant is dangerous elemets. we can't convience them becuase we can't find any laws of rules to clear that.

So, does any one has such experience to fly iHVAC unit by air?
I don't want to discharge all the refrigerant indeed.

Hi

I would imagine that it more to do will it being pressurised and under the same rules as diving bottles - empty with the valve left open.

Pressurised systems may never enter an airplane. What if a leak occur in the cargo part?
You may even not carry a pressurised deodorisant.

Equipment may only be transported if holding a refrigerant charge by sea cargo the only exception is if the equipment is holding a oxygen free nitrogen charge.
