Which aircon unit to go with?

I've been tasked at work choosing an aircon supplier for our workplace. Thing is, I dont know much about aircon! I've got two similar priced quotes, so just wanted an expert opinion on what to go with? Thanks in advance!

Option 1

• Model: Fujitsu AUXG18KVLA
• Energy efficient ratio: 3.07/A+
• British thermal unit: 5kw
• Annual energy consumption: 298kw

Option 2


• Model: Fujitsu AUXG30KRLB C-W AOYG30KATA
• Energy efficient ratio: 3.5/A+
• British thermal unit: 8kw
• Annual energy consumption: 444kw

Well cyp512, it all depends on what your total cooling/heating requirement is for the office.

As you can see from your figures, 1 is rated at 5kW total cooling and the other is rated at 8kW.

If you choose the 5kW and your office need 8kW then the unit will be undersized. Conversly, the 8kW will be oversized if your requirement is 5kW. :D
