hi, I don't have the manual, matsui parts don't exist anymore. I can't find out anywhere on the internet what size the duct is to replace it.
I measured diameter by myself, but it shows 3.8-4.2" because the hose edges zig-zag in size, like an accordion.
My hose has torn in the middle.
Does anybody know what size and where I can replace it urgently?

.

I put that make and number in Google and came up with a manual and a selection of hoses for less than £20.

Oops, I must have searched in google.com. Now I searched google uk saw and read the currys manual. But still can't find the hose size required.

How did you find the hose size for that model?

Your hose size will be 4" according to the measurements that you have taken.

Assortment here from Amazon.....

I'd like to make sure of the size, required, because my measurement as a range not a fixed number.
Also, the baggy ones will tear. I need a semi-flexible plastic one like the original.

Well measure the size of the fitting that the hose goes into.

There are only so many sizes, the manufacturer's are unlikely to waste money going for a non-standard size.

Thanks!
I measured the connector to be 4.8" and luckily found & ordered the 4.7" https://www.amazon.co.uk/Aluminium-Flexible-Length-Ventilation-Ducting/dp/B07ZXDD5DZ/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=ventilation+hose+120mm&qid=1598232785&sr=8-6

The amazon one was made of foil and broke as soon as I opened it.
Does anyone know where I can buy a 1-2metre long 4.6" diameter semi-flexible and durable hose?

Have you thought of using duct tape to fix it?

Just buy the 5" and tighten it up with a worm drive clip.

The factory hose is a semi-flexible, so every time I contort and accordion it, the tape will come off, because a whole line has torn at two ends.

Will a semi-flexible hose shrink wiht the clip, or will the tension be too high to maintain at the 2 factory end parts?
