Star or Delta and power input

Hi Friends,

For example we read on name plate of motor that this motor is 30 KW power input and this motor can be run under "STAR" and "DELTA" wiring both of them.
Now 30 KW power input is for Start or Delta wiring ? or power input in both of these wiring would be same ?

For large size power of motors , power in DELTA wiring


on plate when you see STAR OR DELTA you see 2 Amperes but powers for DELTA

some Compressors could run with :
STAR then DELTA WIRING
STAR + STAR WIRING
DELTA + DELTA WIRING
So we should look at the pleat on the electric motors to find how to do wiring.
