V-Shape condensers

Hi All,

Is there any recommended rule for V-Shape remote condensers installation?
Is it suitable to install this kind of condenser at the same level or below than the evaporator unit? In all aplications that I've seen, this kind of condenser is installed above the evaporator unit.
At this condition (same level), Is it possible to have issues with liquid and oil trapped in the coil condenser?

I think Glenn Moore answered this for you in earlier post.

Having a liquid receiver may also help to drain & store excess liquid.

I would like to know also for non coil connected and condenser at the same level than evaporator. I did not find any documentation or manufacturer installation recomendations about this kind of application.

I cannot see any reason why not.
Oil return is the only thing in any system, but mainly problem if under very low loads for long periods.
If piping selected correctly all should be good.
As far as design of plant other things might need to be addressed.

Hi,

Just to give a feedback about some informativon I had received from the condenser's manufacturer of this case.
This specific model condenser from this manufacturer, it is only recommended and suitable to install the V-Shape condenser at 1,5m above the compressor's level. Below this height the condenser could retain oil.
