Hi

I would like help, i have had engineers come to me about incorrect wiring and any one know if they live had neutral are the opposite way round. I am having secop NLE12.6LNE burning out and the wiring is live at pin 10 and common neutral on pin 14 but i have looked on another unit and the neutral on pin 10 and live common.

Also is the capacitor live or neutral charged it is a 80uf

Common connection should always be live i think?

Having live and neutral one way or the other shouldnt make a difference on a normal single phase supply.

It is best to wire as follows
Neutral to terminal 10
Live via the thermostat to terminal 14 “common”
Capacitor to terminals 11 and 13
The winding protector is between terminal 14 and the winding common connection., Connecting this way the compressor safety “winding protector “ is in the live part of the circuit ,so if the compressor trips there is no live connection to the motor
