Hi All,

I am looking to use an old carrier vector fan in another application. I haven't purchased it yet, and I am trying to get all the components together.

Does anyone know what type of power it is running on i.e. AC or DC - 12 / 24V?

I'm also curious about how it is controlled.

Any knowledge on this subject would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Nik

From what I've found it can be between 425 - 625 vac, check page 2.22 of this manual...

Thanks Brian - that's really helpful.

I presume it's a simple on/off relay control then?

I would think so but check the wiring diagrams.

I would probable use any other fan on the planet than a vector fan
Jack plug is multiple pins with multiple fittings they are not low voltage as charged of a genny I would recommend using a straight commercial fan if you require the same squirrel cage they are available easier to mount and a lot cheaper
