Hi , I am intermittently experiencing an oil pressure fault on a 23XRV. When I arrive and reset it gets away good with no problems .Oil pressure sits around 190kPa consistently while running . This is happening on startup as far as I can see.
I have checked the external oil pump and the oil reclaim modulating valve which seems ok.
Oil levels are good and operating pressures ,
Evaporator pressure 252kPa
Condenser pressure 768kPa
Discharge pressure 766kPa
Oil supply pressure 453kPa
Oil sump pressure 257kPa
Oil pump deltaP 195kPa
This is not occuring on low load or ambient conditions..
Ambient 36c
I have also checked evaporator flows, transducers sensors etc for calibration.
Any recommendations would be helpful.
Thanks

Hi
Do you have oil heater in carter (compressor)
It should be on while compressor is stopped

I don’t know if they are similar but I had intermittent oil problems with a 38gx where a part of the oil pump was intermittently blocking the oil line

I have checked oil heaters and oil filter for drop in pressure and both ok.

Hi
Check oil connection pipes
Check MP 55 micro switch and what is the timing of that to acttion (some 60 -90 -120 Sec.)
What type of oil you use.
Refrigerant solve in oil
