Any recommendations on a tool to use for measuring flow rates for water + glycol hydronic systems much appreciated

It all depends.

Do you have commissioning valve stations, orifice plates or simply pressure test points across components with known pressure drops.

Commissioning valve manufacturers may have dedicated test kits or you may be able to get a test kit that is calibrated for many manufacturers.

For simple pressure drops you could use a simple water manometer.

Wrong country I know but just an indicator ...

you can buy ultrasonic flow meters on eBay that clamp to the outside of the pipes

Thanks for all the great options, have emailed the rental company for the ta scope as they are Ta valves.
Very interested in comtronic and ultrasonic so will read up on them tonight. Thanks for all your help

The comdronic is a great meter. It gives the Kvs of most manufacturer commissioning sets, valves, orrifice plates. Nice and quick when on site.
Some say not as accurate as a water box though.
